Today I aimed for the 9:50 bus but didn't make it. Then got pulled up by the guy selling Dead Sea Skin products, who i told i didn't want anything cause I was travelling and wasn't going to carry more stuff. We start trading travel stories and he had been in the Israeli Army for 3 years serving in Lebanon. And had spent a year travelling South America and now lives in San Francisco. Is only in England to train salespeople. It made me think Ziva, NCIS.
So I get the 10:50 bus and when we get to Hartfield the bus just cuts out and we have to wait for the next bus that came through an hour later. So I dont get out to Groombridge to like 1pm.
I first head to Groombridge Place and Enchanted Forest. Groombridge Place was where they filmed patrs of the Kiera Knightley Pride and Prejudice. In the forest I saw dinosaurs, dragons, witches, American Indians and Gypsys. There was so much play equipment - the best of which was these Giant Swings. They were in the tall trees on the sloped of the hills. You were so high up at the top of your swing but you weren't very high at all when you went backwards. They also had the wierdest animal ever a Zeedonk - a Zebra Donkey cross, i can safely say I have never seen one before.
I then finished the Weald walk - those 6kms back to Tunbridge Wells. The path led past this place called High Rocks, which had these big rocks that have been dated back to the Stone age. They have sat there along time.
It was a very nice walk back into Tunbridge Wells.
