Today we went out to the Lake District.
The day started with a visit to the very picturesque Lower Slaughter. We wondered around the houses and made our way to the Mill and gift shop. Where i considered buying a sign that read "On this site in 1792 nothing happened."
We then moved on to Burton upon Trent and went in all the sweet shops and toy shops. We stopped for lunch at a pub that sounded really good but was really not very nice. Pearce was enjoying his surf and turf burger untill Oliver decided to swat a very persistant wasp (more of a bee thing really - but everyone keeps telling me that they are wasps) straight into his face. And not even notice. Pearce is yet to decide whether he is forgiven or not.
Finished the day in Walton Upon Trent, which a very nice cafe. Ooooohhh good hot chocolate. And a very unhelpful cheese shop man. Pearce also found a sat nag - for all the men out there who need another nag in there lives. "In ten metres i will put on my most annoying voice and say is your short cut really shorter?"
