I am not ashamed to admit that I haven't changed my pants since wednesday morning. Its Friday now and I've still got to fly to Ballina and catch a bus home. By which time it will be around 5pm. So that will be 3 days with the same pair of knickers on. And if there are any attractive boys reading this I don't care what you think. OK? Boys are smelly anyway.
The wedding was lovely. I'm not sure I drank enough champagne to justify the 6 days of travelling from Byron Bay to Hackney via Abthorpe and back again. But hopefully your brother only gets married once....
As soon as I got back on English soil I hot-footed it to the shoe shops and bought a riduculous pair of green suede and gold, very high-heeled shoes. I find its the only way to recover from a long-haul flight. Maybe its not the best idea to start your outfit off with a pair of shoes and then try to get a dress to match, but I fell in love. That fairly exhausted me and what with the jet lag I was snoring by about 5 o,clock. But the next day I was refreshed and ready for more shopping. This time with Mum. Sorry Mum, for being a horrible daughter and having a tantrum all day because I couldn't find a bloody thing to wear. Its just that it had to match the shoes, you see. On Thursday we went to Bicester Village, though. Which, by the way, is paradise. So I got my green dress. Photos to come hopfully. I looked hot. What can I say. I couldn't walk far in the shoes but you don't need to walk far at a wedding do you?
Oh yeah. And Florence looked nice too, in a red dress she made from some fabric Mum and Dad brought back from Singapore. Hope you guys are having a fab honeymoon in New Zealand. xxx
