W decide to go up a bloody big mountain. Mount Warning. Wollumbin the Arakwal call it. Another sacred site. Its peak is the first piece of land in the whole world to catch the sun's rays every morning. You can see it from my beach, Clarkes beach, near my house. Tammo and I have been back in the Bay a couple of weeks now and have settled down in a house near to the beach, so its been up early every morning to hit the surf. Tammo bought Pedro, a custard yellow 1988 Mitsubishi Magna, while we were down in Sydney, so we drove him back up to Byron over the weekend. We arrived back in Sydney on New Years Eve and frankly it has rained non-stop since we got here. Its just not good enough. There was a short break though for the fireworks on the harbour bridge which we watched from a great vantage point in North Sydney at Grim's sister's flat. What a view.
