We woke up very early in the morning...5am in fact to go swimming with dolphins. We walked to the dolphin centre, actually we ran beacuase we slept in a bit and got kitted out with Notting Hill like wetsuits very much like penguin suits and snorkells..so atttractive particularly withthe wetsuit hat. We watched an introductory DVD and travelled by bus to the boats. The boats drove us out to sea..it was absolutely freezing!and we all looked out for dolphin pods...suddenly out of nowhere thousands of spahes appeared from the waters surface ad dolphins came leaping out of the water playfully following the boat. The alarm on the boat went off and we all jumpedquicky into the water. IT WAS FREEZING. I couldn't move for about 3 minutes. I got brainfreeze. Then 10 dolphins swam towards us and circled me. After that nothing was going to beat me. We snorkelled with 500 dusky dolphins for 45 minutes, they circled us in the water, swam alongside us and towads us, all the while we were told to make funny noises to attract them. One guy was shouting in a very toneful voice..lalalalala...i didn't swim next to him! It was the best experience of my life (up until that day). Dusky dolphins are renowned for being the most playful and active species of dolphin, they were so unbelievably friendly and the whole day was incredible, breathtaking!I got some great photos of the dolphins and the four of us in our suits. After our second swim we had hot chocolate in the boat and drove around for a while following the dolphin pod. Tans got emotional..she connected with one particular dolphin..very sweet!! Bins was terrified but loved it and Hannah looked hilarious in the water!
P.S I love you was very sad and very funny....i cried!!I want to live in the house they filmed in Ireland..it is perfect!! The cinema was so sweet!!Hot chocolate in the cafe and Fish and Chips!!
The next day we travelled to Neslon and on to Westport.
