The next morning wesaid goodbye to everyone on Sunset Waya and travelled to Long Beach , North of the Yasawa Ilsand. On arrival we had lunch and then walked along the beach to the headland, it took us a while as the beach was so (unsurprisingly) long and we kept sinking into the sand. My legs were so painful by the end! Most exercise i have done in a long time! A dog followed us the whole way and Fred became quite attatched to it thoughit did take us all a while to understand why every now and then he'd started runing around frantically...he was chasing tiny sand crabs it turned out! When we reached the headland we admired the absolutely incredible view of Paradise for a while then went for a swim, Bins and Fred and a little fight in the water because Bins told Fred that she peed near him as a joke and he retaliated by throwing five handfuls of sand in her hair...uh oh! I walked back along the beach by myself and just as i was approaching the resort a lady who was sitting at a table with 5 children running around her said hello and called me over to talk to her. I ended up talking to her for a while, she was so sweet and her children were adorable. By the end i had a new best friend in the form of a 3 year old named milla, i also had about 50 shells that she colected for me! Fred came and joined us and SArla the mother invited us to tea later that afternoon. It would cost $4 (1 pound and there would be some people selling jewellry etc..) we accepted her invitation and said goodbye. I went and lay on the beach in the scorching sun for the next few hours. At four o'clock we all went and had tea with some other people from the resort. Sarla had made cake and it was warm and absolutely delicious! the tea tasted of horse but i drank it and then went and looked at some little stalls that 3 women had setup on mats with colourful shell and bead necklaces displayed very temptingly! I bought a few necklaces for 5 pounds and then walked back to the resort. Tans, Fred Pip and i played netball with some cost rican guys....one of them on my team kept shouting out ' you'll get it next time Ems!' which was very encouraging....the ball hurt so much when i hit it but i did eventually get it! It was serious, professional volleyball....a very high standard! I got really bitten so i retreated to the room with bright red arms! We had supper and played some card games then went to bed.
