Hello everyone!
I'm now writing this sitting in san fran airport, having ,eft the Willinghams behind and looking forward to my time in Australia!
This morning Lexie and I planned to get thr ferry across the bay into the city, however, lexie being lexie, we ran late, so ended up getting the bart in instead. Once there we had breakfast at the ferry building (so we could at least see the ferries) and then, after being approached and asked if we wanted to buy any marijuana, we got on the trolley bus and headed to the castro. This was an area which historically was the gay area in san fransisco, and although now inhabited by young trendy generally straight people, it is full if it's history and was good fun to walk around due to the shops having hilarious innuendo filled names. All this was a laugh however the funniest part was getting off the trolley bus and seeing immediately in front of us a completely naked man juat sitting in a cafe. This of course entertained lexie and i immensely.

We then walked into the next neighbourhood to see some beautiful san fransiscan town houses.

For lunch we hopped on a bus to find a restaurant in china town, which Lexie had found on the internet and was supposed to be great. After getting off the bus we trekked up several of those famous san fransisco hills, inky to find the restaurant was no longer there. Yaay! Haha. So we walked back down and went to a restaurant which looked good. Once we went in and ordered it became clear we were not particularly welcome as we were the only white people in there and were actually getting pointed at. We awkwardly laughed it off and then left as soon as we could!

We then went back to the ferry and managed to get on one to go back to oakland, which was a treat as there were some beautiful views of the bay!
I then got ready to go to the airport, said my goodbyes and now here i am!

Can't wait to see everyone in Australia!
