hello

Much excitement this morning as we headed off to a buddhist monastry for brunch. It was very 'Berkeley' according to the Willinghams, meaning it was very different! I enjoyed it a lot and in the words of Liz it was a scream. We ate thai curries and mango with sticky rice, all of which was delicious, however i felt like i need never eat again!

We headedback home after this for a relaxed day as Gabi needed to get ready for her first day at her new school and willers was leaving to go to Dublin. We did however go and have a game of 'soccer' on the american football field of a local school - i was convinced we were going to get chased away. Please tell Tom that the Willinghams say that of he doesnt want me on his football team they'll haveme as I scored a blinder of a penalty (sent the goalie/gabi the wrong way and whacked it into the bottom left corner.)

Watched a film this evening and am now off to bed. We're going to Muir Woods tomorrow to see the giant redwoods!
