Strangely woke in a sweat despite the chilly sea air - guessing my body is just accustomed to waking me in such a manner. Walked around outside for a while to cool off, then went back to sleep until 5.20am. Was too cold for a shower so just a brush of teeth and then off I went. Stopped in Lancelin for fuel and coffee, squealed to halt to avoid mowing down some kangaroos bouncing across the round, and was in Rockingham by 9am!
Mitch and Amy were out on the boat collecting cray pots so I went to the shops but just my luck, it was Sunday and they were open later. Briefly perused the market, and then just chilled in the car for a while searching for tours in Margaret River. Ended up purchasing a slightly more expensive one ($160) and then researched places to stay/cars/visas/jobs and anything else I could think of. Back to the shops for a weird pastry thing for breakfast then to the house. Did some washing, had a lovely salt and bug free shower and then watched Mary: The Making of a Princess whilst M&A&Q all had a nap!
We went for a drive around Rockingham and they showed me some more of the ridiculous sized houses in their area, then went to the bottle shop where I was delighted to see that they had the Matso's cider I had fallen in love with in Broome. Purchasing a couple of bottles we headed back to the house for a dinner of salad and freshly caught cray fish, and a dessert of homemade sticky date pudding which was absolutely amazing. Feeling stuffed and well fed I went to sleep on the sofa.
