gOOd day mates!

this is email number 1 of many from emma's travelling diary in oZ.

thursday 16th nov:
just arrived after possibly the longest day of my life. although i was a bit apprehensive about the flight it went surprisingly well and got stuck into movies, music, sweets & games. unfortunately because of a certain somebody (called charlotte) sitting next to me, i was conveniently nudged each time i managed to fall asleep so didn't get much rest in my 30hour day. the journey was lovely and smooth and the stewards looked after us very very well. even though its more than a day later, it feels like we hopped on the plane this morning and have arrived just extra tired the same evening because of the huge time difference!

off to explore sydney in the morning as have only seen it in the dark so far. very surreal feeling to be here.

friday 17th nov:
didn't quite make it into sydney today... in fact i didn't make it outside at aLL because i couldn't wake up. even when i opened my eyes they just closed again! also wasn't feeling too great so i went back to bed and charlotte went to get new sim cards for our phones whilst i lay in bed... most of the day!!!

and that's about it for now im afraid to say. weather is not its best atm and this evening was chilled like england so don't feel tOO jealous! its set to warm up this wknd when we will be getting the bikinis out (then you can be jealous!)
