Hi Everyone

Yesterday was our last day in Bangkok - we had a fairly relaxed day. Wandered in the centre of the old city, Siam and had a look around some of the shopping malls. One of them was full of designer stores, we were in our shorts and t-shirt (didn't exactly look the part). We also found the Hard Rock Cafe, we didn't realise there was one, but when we saw it we had to go and have a drink.

In the evening we had to get on a 12 hour train to Chiang Mai. We thought we knew what to expect after all the travelling we did in China. The trains were no worse than China (except the toilets maybe) just different. We both had top bunks which were ok, but there was nothing to stop you falling out so neither of us slept particularly well.

Chiang Mai is great, very different from Bangkok, much more relaxed. We spent the afternoon exploring the city, then went to the Night Bazaar this evening. Definately an experience! Tomorrow we're off on an adventure....... We'll let you know who we get on.
