This week has been rather hectic! We decided to book another week at surfside as looking for an appartment was proving impossible! On tuesday it was the melbourne cup ( a horserace sort of like ascot or the derby in england) and so work was very very busy and everyone was bettin g on lots of horses and ringing lots of money! We had a night out after that as on our way back from work we saw the 'PARTY BUS' on the road outside the hostel....it was so embarassing we all got on it and it played really cheesy 80's music as everyone drank and smoked it was like something from a tacky movie! Bu really funny! We now have new room mates too , two gay guys and a girl who are aall a breath of fresh air compared to all the irish louts who inhabited it before! Yesderday we had the day off so decided to be touristy and go to the aquarium! We saw sharks and HUGGGGEEE rays it was wicked and we touched a sea enenemy???!! what ever that is but it was squidgy! Not really sure where we are going to go next as having doubts as to whether the hostel is going to have enough room for us over christmas and new year, having a look at some apartments but not really having anyluck! Who knows we may just get a van and sleep in that!! xxxxxx
