Hello Everyone!

Sorry about the lack of contact have only finally managed to work out how to use this stupid thing! Well, australia is just amazing. After a rather slow first week (mainly down to the hostel and its location, we felt it was a bit too impersonal and way to in the city!) we have finally found an appartment in Bonid thats right by the beach and in the heart of surf ville! Getting used to the strange lingo and the extortionate prices of everything 7(7 quid for a vodka redbull! WHAT) and getting to know our flat mates who are really really cool . 2 girls called hannah and fiona from gloustershire!So strange that we met them on the plane and now we are living with them after thinking that we were never going to see them again! It must be fate...! OUr landlord is a bit of an excentric with wild ideas of making us bunkbeds out of milk crates, sounds extremely safe....! ThYesterday we found jobs as well, talk about getting sorted quickly! we dont waste time around here! WE are both now barhostesses at the beach road hotel (hotel means bar/pub very strange) but its really cool place and its huge! They also have live bands playing most nights and electro saturday so its pretty much like a working party! much better than slaving over tables in the heat! Speaking of heat the weather has got alot better, it was a bit chilly when we first arived but now its amazing, we have been on the beach twice sunbathing a checking out the talent on the beaches and in the sea! Our flat is right near all the shops and restaurants and bars so its a great location to make lots of friends and we even got mistaken for locals today!!
