Felt we should update you as it seems as tho alot has happened in the past week! First and foremost, we have been kicked out of our appartment! If you didnt know already! Extremely hectic and quite glad we got out of there whikle we could really as we found out that living in a house complete with domestic violdece isnt always the funnest place to be! We had a nights notice so left the appartment eearly monday morning to trapse around some hostels looking for beds! Eventually stumbled upon a lovely little hostel (sense the irony) close to the beach. Its not that bad really but after the clenliness and couth atmonsphere of wake up its definitely a change! But, we are meeting some amazing people all of whome we feel as tho we have known for years! Everyone is so friendly and it seems that the hostel never sleeps! (when they do the walls shake for drunken snoring !). We have discovered 'goon' a rather funky tasting wine that comes in a carton (????!!!) but everyone is obsessed with it over heere as its only 13 dollars (about 5 quid!) bargain if we ever did see one! We have been enjoying barbeques on the beach and nights out at the bondi hotel, the local nightclub! The other day we were sitting on the beach when suddenly helicopters appeared from no where, we couldnt work out what the hell was going on until we saw in the distance a large black object and spraying water, we saw whalesthat had gotten through the shark nets! it was an incredible sight... So for now we are just chilling along in the hostel going with the flow as not sure if we can start to deal with the drama of looking for another apartment just yet!
