Singapore update: had afternoon high tea in Raffles as well as a singapore sling which was very very nice and alcoholic! Bit shocked when the bill came though. We also went on the Singapore flyer which is like the London eye but taller, you can see nearly the whole country of Singapore as well as parts of Malaysia. At least the pods were air conditioned. We then experienced our first Singapore thunderstorm! Where the rain is even heavier than in England and the thunder is extremely loud. We looked scared but everyone else was obviously used to it! We then got our transfer to the airport and were in need of some familia food so we had a lovely Burger King!! Yummy!! :)

Well we have arrived in Cairns and have to admit jet-lag caught up with us!! The flight over was lovely (with the added bonus of a very nice male air-hostperson!!), with a stop in Darwin. Cairns is very hot but not as humid as Singapore so we feel much better. Had a sleep and now off down to the city then a walk along the beach (hopefully we will get to use one of the free BBQs!).
