Well since we last updated this we have been very very busy. we left cairns and went to uluru (ayers rock). We walked around the base of the rock, watched the sunset and sunrise on it and did the valley of the winds walk throught the Olgas. Very wierd being in a desert with it boiling in the day and freezing at night.

then we headed to Sydney, the whole point of the trip. We spent the next 2 and a half weeks with Claire, Ede and George. Apart from relaxing and spending time with them we also had a tour of the opera house, went on George's boat around the harbour, visited the three sisters and the blue mountains and generAL tourist stuff. We also took Ede on the train and to the cinema for the first time. We saw kung-fu panda and she loved it. We missed Kate though because our song came on at the end of the film.

those two and a half weeks flew by and before we knew it we were at the airport saying our goodbyes (with a few tears :( ). We are missing them so so much, but maybe not the daily wake up calls from Ede at 7 am!!

Then we headed to New Zealand. We flew into Auckland and have so far completed our North Island tour including the bay of islands where we saw lots of dolphins, waitomo where we went inot glowworm caves, rotorua where we bathed in the geothermal pools (even though they smelt of eggs!) and had a traditional maori meal and watched them do a concert which included the haka. Now we have just arrived in wellington, the capital of NZ. We spend a few days here then onto the south island.
