Its now Saturday morning, half 8, was awake at half 6 but have had a good couple nights sleep. Had a shower and washed my hair this morning, it was stinking! All ready for my flight later.

Went to the Light Show on Thurday night, was okay, looks better on TV i think, also went up the longest escalator in the world, just to say done it, then had to walk all the way down again! Yesterday i got a travel pass for the MTR (Tube) as walked miles the day before so thought would see more, was only 4 quid. Went to Lantau Island to see the Buddha, when there you get on a 25min cable car ride to the actual village, was swinging a bit in the wind! It wasn't so hot yesterday but blowing a gale, i'm hoping not so windy out today as don't fancy taking off in it. After the cable car i got a 25 min bus journey to the other side of Hong Kong Island to a seaside town called Stanley, much more like home, glad i made the trip, also had a nice market selling lots of rubbish you dont need.

Went for tea last night in an American Grill House, had a 10oz Steak and Chocolate Brownie, portions were huge, good job as it wasn't cheap, the bill came to about 30quid!!! steak was 21 i think. Steak was really good, but i think my brownies are better! Now going to back my bag, apparantly you can check in and get your boarding pass at the MTR station here and they transport your bags to the airport for you, which is good as then i have near enough all day here not having to worry about going back to hostel to collect my stuff.

Posted a post card to nan and pap yesterday, don't know how long it will take to get home.
