I made it! The flight was okay, the plane was huge, had a window seat which was good. Got given Orange juice and crisps after take off, thought that would be it until breakfast, started watching Indanna Jones on my little tele and was nearly asleep when they starting coming around with dinner/tea at half midnight! Choice was Beef Stew, Chicken Noodles or Spinich Pasta, which i went for, it was okay. Tried to sleep then napped on and off, that was about it. Breakfast was served at half 7, choice being thai rice, scrambled eggs with cheese or ham and cheese omolate, i had the omolate but just ate the filing, and some cereal with it too so that was okay. Got in Hong Kong at 5pm their time, nearly 45 min early, as we were landing the pilot said it was 86 degrees out, i'm sure its hotter today. Starting sweating as soon as left the airport, found bus into town okay and the hostel, cheap and chearful but clean. Went to bed at half 8 after going to corner shop for some water, thought would have slept well as didn't sleep much on plane, but spent half the night awake i think, my body seemed to know it was only afternoon, hopefully jet lag will have worn off by tonight.
Was up half 7 this morning, went up to the peak which was good, got some nice photos, not completly clear but could see a fair bit. Its that bloody hot today i had to resort to buying one of those stupid sun umbrellas for 3 quid! everyone seems to use them so shouldn't look too much of a plank. Also went on star ferry this morning, a lot rougher than what i thought, felt a bit sea sick after a 2 min journey! Found a juice bar in one of the hundreds of shopping centres which was nice, and cooled me down a bit.
I put lots of suntan cream on this morning, hopefully wont be burnt tomorrow, although i don't think it is burning heat, just humidity. Planning on going to see the lights this evening, will hopefully be a bit cooler out now. Tomorrow planning on going to see the Buddha in the photo above.
