The Weird & Wonderful Adventures of Emma, Len & Jo
26th August 2006
Oh hiiiiiiiiiiiiii!! Sorry its been a while but we have been very busy dontcha know!! First things first....WE MET OUR VERY OWN CROCODILE DUNDEE!!!!!!!!! Because we were scared of a 13 hour coach ride up to see the dolphins we stopped off in Cervantes (thanks to the best greyhound employee EVER!) to see the Pinnacles. If I tell you they are rocks, you wont be jealous but seriously it was cool! Look them up!! We got dropped off in the middle of nowhere by the greyhound, it was so funny, literally just us, a phone box and a petrol station! The hostel picked us up and took us back and we booked a tour of the Pinnacles for sunset that night with someone called Mike. And yes I have been accidentally calling him Mick ever since. Anyway, he pulls up with a battered old croc dundee hat looking like Mick Dundee's twin brother - I had to be calmed down a little by Emma who thought he might not like to be called croc dundee straight away. Anywho, we went to the Pinnacles amidst jokes about sheep and kangaroos making woolly jumpers (I was so in awe I believed him till people started laughing) and were met by literally hundreds of big...well Pinnacles, alright rocks - but seriously its better than it sounds!! Shockingly he decided that I looked like the biggest idiot of the group and so made me (whilst laughing maniacally and not telling me what I was doing) go away from the rest of the group and crawl up into a rock - cue stupid pictures of some gormless fool with her head sticking out of a rock!!Im sure Emma will put them up ASAP! Luckily I got my own back and volunteered her next and she looked just as dappy! We watched the sun setting over the sea and across the Pinnacles and guess what our friend Mick pointed out to us....? Sitting on a rock was a Gallaaa - A Flaming One!!! Very exciting!(Its a bird for all you non home and away lovers!) Emma and Mick tried to chase an Emu around the Pinnacles but as funny as they looked they didnt get very close! On the way home soooooo many kangaroos decided they really wanted to be our friend and get in the mini bus but luckily no fatalities! Alas, no crocodile wrestling but twas very amusing! We spent the next day sitting on the beach watching a baby seagull play "chase the waves" and....IT DIDNT HATE US!!!! Oh how we love that seagull!!
Thats it anyway - off to Geraldton and Denham next to see the dolphins so will speak later!! Love you byeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee love len xxx (and Em)
