Cooooeeeee!! Hi!! Emma is too busy socialising so I have been let loose on this today to tell you all about Rottnest island! It is the most booootiful place we have seen yet!! And now we are sure we are gonna live here (impossible schmimpossible). Anywho, we got up really early and went down to the harbour where apparently the colour green in Oz means blue and eventually boarded the right boat! It was a dead pretty journey and neither of us were sick once - whoop whoop!! Im not kidding when we arrived its just turqouise blue seas and white sand (jealous yet?!) and all the buildings were painted a sort of orange colour (not ugly like!) - very mediterranean island like im sure! Anywho, we had a fancy breakfast overlooking the ocean (bloody seagulls were back again) thenn SOMEone had the bright idea that we would walk around the island instead of having a bike or getting a bus...hmmmmm. It took us 4 hours to get back to where we started and as pretty as the views were it blumming hurt! There were so many secluded bays and beaches that we were literally the only ones on so we were easily placated, until we ran out of water, out of seaside, and had to climb our 17th hill!! Lordy!! Anywho, we hadnt seen any of the cute lil' animal things on the island (Quokkas) at all as we were going round, so we went to the cafe to refuel ourselves and one was blumming in there!! The best part of the day though was when Em bought some cake and 5 peacocks came up and nicked it off the table!!! Well I wasnt going to argue with them!! Anywho, hilarity ensued!!! We managed to catch the last ferry (whoopwhoop) even though we were having trouble walking by that point and were accosted by Aussie Chavs!! They were just being friendly but lordy!! That was Emmas favourite part although she was sad at the lack of burberry!! Anywho we are gonna go into Perth tomorrow all being well and try and sort out our trip up to Monkey Mia and the dolphins!
