we have just arrived in Paraty! Yesterday we hired aprivate boatforour tour group and went to the Green Lagoon and the Blue Lagoon...wouldve been stunning but there were so many people in the water so there were no fish! annoying as we had all hired snorkels.
beginning to discover that brazilian time is in a world of its own. wat was meant to be an hour boat ride to the lagoons turned into 2.5 hours!! all were quite sunburned and hungry by the time we reached the lagoon.

I have become known as ice cream girl. exhausted the ice cream cafe in illha grande! was so good though - loads of flavours and toppings. ideal.
last night we founda little pasta restaurant and then barney and i just chilled on the beach. they have these big glass counters that people push around and they are filled with loads of yummy desserts. we had this snickers cake thing which was probably one of the yummiest things ive had!!
was wat we needed after a crazy night previously. The night before we had a massive bbq at the hostel but cos the meat was taking so long, Pablo (our tour leader) gave us a caprianha making lesson and the more we drank..the stronger they got!!! were very yum though. so ended up staying up very late dancing on the beach...ooo its tough out here!

just been travelling today really. journeys are hard in this heat. Bout to have a group meeting for our plans tonight so al just trying to call down in the meantime.

Every one in our tour group are so nice and friendly. We really lucky cos we met another tour group and they were all so different from each other. gna be really sad to leave the group and it'll be wierd cos itll be the end of something but yet only still the beginningreally of our trip.
