we have just arrived in Paraty! Yesterday we hired aprivate boatforour tour group and went to the Green Lagoon and the Blue Lagoon...wouldve been stunning but there were so many people in the water so there were no fish! annoying as we had all hired snorkels. beginning to discover that brazilian time is in a world of its own. wat was meant to be an hour boat ride to the lagoons turned into 2.5 hours!! all were quite sunburned and hungry by the time we reached...

Hello all,a rly quick message from Ilha Grande - an island off Brazil. It is absolutely stunning. One of thsoe place you always see pictures of and just never imagine to be there. We're with our tour group - 15 of us of which 10 are australian. all are really nice and we're getting on really well.Been to the best beach in Brazel today - Lopes Mendes...look it up. got to go cos running out of time on internet but will write more tomorrow. having so much fun love...
