Well i'm now in Hervey Bay waiting until i go on my 3 day trip to Fraser Island (world's largest sand island) tomorrow morning - it should be good but will end up very sandy! hopefully it will be good weather - there is currently a big storm happening - lots of rain! I'm hoping it will clear by the morning! After i left Brisbane i headed up to Noosa Heads which was absolutely beautiful - although i didn't take any photos so you won't be able to see! Sorry! I was fairly busy there - i had my first surf lesson and managed to stand up but not quite without a helping hand - i haven't mastered the timing to catch the wave and stand up quite yet - but it was only a 2 hour lesson! I managed to get board rash on my legs though - now know why they invented board shorts!

The second day i was in Noosa i spent the day at Australia Zoo, which was good fun but probably would have been even more fun if i hadn't been wandering around by myself! I sat in the Crocoseum and saw the animal shows but didn't hand feed the elephants or any other animals infact! Saw all the Steve Irwin tributes which was (not sure what the word to put is but will go with) interesting. I went on the free courtesy bus so had videos on the way there and back to pass the time.

Been in Hervey Bay for a few days now and have done most of what it has to offer. Which isn't too much but the hostel here is nice so today i've just lazed by the pool. Will update again soon and add photos!
