I've been in Brisbane for nearly a week now and have wandered around the city a fair bit, going over to South Bank and also strolling around the botanical gardens and along the river. I went to a Koala Sanctuary on Tuesday - got a photo of me cuddling a Koala! Then on Thursday and Friday i had a couple of day trips. On thursday i went over to Moreton Island, made up almost completely of sand and did some sand taboganning (can't spell that so will call it boarding!) and had general 4 wheel drive fun aswell as relaxing on some beautiful beaches. then yesterday, Friday i went inland to the gold coast hinterland and did some rainforest walks aswell as go to a glow worm research centre and saw what i'm guessing was thousands of glow worms and fed some lorrikeets (again the spelling might be wrong but i don't really care) from the palm of my hand. Just waiting around for post now - because the main post office in the capital of queensland isn't open at all over the weekend so i have to wait until monday to collect my post - if it has arrived that is!!! Then will head up to Noosa and beyond.
