had 5 nights in magnetic island left yesterday and were in townsville now just on the coast opposite magnetic island!

did have a nicwe time but got very bored and in the end we were glad to leave, well worth going to though.

first day we got there chilled out after the bus journey and looked at the amasing views. we walked into the hostel to check in and were gob smacked at how beautifull it was. literally 50m from the sea right on the beach, and it was a really nice beach and such a clear day no clouds just clear blue skys. unfortuantley have no pictures as my camera had broken!

george and will cooked for us wich was v nice! had a stir fry, was ace, had a few beers and then went to bed, wasnt a lot to do that night so savd it for sleeping!

next day frankie and jess arrived, s we just stayed at the hostel pretty much all day, did the food shoppin and used the pool, read, wne to down the beach etc. was another boiling day so kind of too hot to do anythin much. bought bbq food and went down with thwe girls and lads to picnic bay. had an ace night! just sat talkin and drinkin down at the beach for most of the night, really chilled ut and fun. it was jess's bday the next day so gave her a cup cake with a candle in and went back to the bar and got abit drunk in clebration! danced lots unfortunatley embarrasin ourselves to soldja boy again! good night hit the sheets at 12.

jess and frankie went horseridin the next day for her bday and got back late that nihgt. george and will had left so we didnt have a lot to do so did exactky the same again, stayed on the beach and around the hostel. had a quite 1 that night had bday cake which wa a very nice luxury on our budget. blew up some balloons and played pool.

thursday everyone had left now so very bored! decided to take a bus to horseshoe bay, accross the island. me kady and john(met in rainbow beach) went in those tube, ringo things that a speed boat pulls, was so much fun! got very wet and battered about, but could not stop laughin! was quite a nice beach and a nice change to the hostel beach. after gettin back we had dinner and walked down to picnic bay again spent the ngiht there chattin and chilling out!

left on friday our 2month since bein away anniversay! spnet most of the day on magnetic island and left later for the boat to townsville. had a really nice time in magnetci island, just annoyin that we had to spend so long there because we got a bit sick of it. we unfortuantley couldnt leave though because we couldnt get on the bus to cairns till the 13th tomorrow. were all very much lookin forward to goin to cairns too as townsville is rubbish.

very much like a ghost town. spent the day here wanderin round, the ebach is nice and theres a cool laggon/man made pool. also loads of amsin kids aprks, so much better than english ones i would of l;oved bein a kid here. but theres no one around, all the shops, museums, cafes everyhwere! is closed and its a sat afternoon grrr! nevermind, were goin to the cinema in abit so that shud give su somethin to do!
