Hello everybody. Just wanted to give you a small update on what we're doing. The last entry was made in Buenos Aires and since then we've come a long way. We took a bus to Santiago in Chile. On our way, we h ad to cross the Andes and they are magnificent. We hadn't read our planetickets well enough, so we ended up staying for only one night. We had to catch a fligt to Lima in Peru. From this really strange town, we went on an arranged tour to the "Lost City of the Incas". It's very remote! 19 hrs. by bus through winding mountainpasses and tropical climate. We thought we were going to die - the smell in these busses is undescribable, people are throwing up around you, BO, and people, mostly women, had a lovely smell of urin about them. All of this mixed with the fact that we had no legroom at all - interesting to say the least. Machu Piccu turned out to be worth the trouble. It's mindblowing to stand on a mountaintop in a 1000 year old city untouched by mankind. The work gone into this place is incredible. We also h ad time for a quick visit to the "Sacred Valley" which offered some more insight into their beliefsystem and organisation - they must have been a brilliant people. We've now made our way to Costa Rica and are looking forward to some jungleexperiences. can't stress enough, how much we wish we could show you guys the pictures. Another 2 weeks and it should be possible. Take care
