Last friday was our day trip to Siena and San Gimignano. The weather was not very good, overcast most of the day, but sunny at times. The towns were so cute though. Both of them were pretty little but had so many shops and places to eat. We got a tour of Sienna and then had free time to get lunch. After lunch we took our bus to San Gimignano and just had a few hours to walk around on our own. The town was very small so after an hour of walking and a trip to a famous gelato shop we were ready to go home.

We had plans on Saturday to go to Fiesole and have a picnic but when we woke up it was rainy out. We kind of just hung around our apartment and cleaned and ate the rest of the day. We decided to try for our picnic again on Sunday but it was also rainy then. We showered and got ready and it got kind of nicer out so we just went into town and walked around and shopped a little.

We did our first load of laundry yesterday too. Those washers as super small so we could only do a few of our things and then had to string them around our house since it wasn't very nice outside. We hung them outside this morning to finish drying.

We have Italian class in a few minutes. So we will write again soon!
