We are back to classes today after a nice, long, and amazing weekend!!

Thursday we took the midnight train to Naples with about 10 other students in our program. The train ride was very long and tedious because we didn't reserve seats & the train was incredibly crowded. We arrived in Portici, which is a small town south of Naples around 8am and then checked into our Hostel. It was actually really nice except they didn't give us towels or hand soap in the bathrooms. haha it was quite interesting. We took a nap and then when the boys arrived, we took a train to Pompeii. Pompeii was awesome, it was very cool to see! We spent the whole day there & will upload some pictures shortly.

Saturday we took a train to Sorrento and then a jet across the sea to Capri. Wow. It was beautiful!! I (Emily) fell in love with Sorrento and wants to spend the rest of my life there. Capri was amazing, we spent the day lying on the beach and swimming in the ocean. The water was crystal clear and perfect.

Sunday we took a train to Sorrento and then a bus to Amalfi. It was a curvy road but a beautiful view. People drive kinda crazy here so there were a few times we were a little nervous! Amalfi was also very gorgeous. We took some great pictures and loved every minute of it. We spent the day laying on the sand and swimming in the ocean.

We took the bus back to Sorrento and stayed at a camping site for the night in a tent. It was an experience for sure. We were roughing it but it was something we will never forget. For 10 euro a night, you can't get a better deal!

Monday was a Holiday so we took an early train back to Florence, so we could relax before starting a new week of classes. Allison and i had a presentation today on the Markets in Florence, and it went very well! We did a skit and made everyone laugh. We are having such a great time together, its amazing how fast it is going.

Next weekend is Cinque Terre, I cant wait! We heard it is the most beautiful place in the world!! Miss you all!
