We are so soft!!! Today we checked into the island's only 5 star resort! Couldn't even last a week. No really... we found an amazing deal on the net for the resort which we just couldn't pass up. After packing up our little hut we caught a speed boat to south to the resort. WOW! Manicured gardens, beautiful beaches on the backdrop of lush green rainforest. But what we were most excited about was our chalet. HOT WATER! AIR CONDITIONING! A WORKING TOILET!! TV!! A PHONE! and the best bit for James.. wireless internet access all around the resort public areas including pools and restaurants. The only bad bit was the price of food. After being spoilt at Salang with dinners of less than $10 for both of us for the last week and a half, paying western prices again was a bit hard! Still we are going to cheat a bit and stock up on supplies from Tekek, which is only a 20 min walk away. We will keep you posted!
