Hi...barely have time to write-Ems light is out but I'll quickly do this...modern museum/art gallery was interesting,to me-Em not blown away by it but said it was ok!variety of art work by local artists,followed by lovely lunch on the balcony overlooking the Bosphorus which is a very busy river,then Em met her future sister-in-law Briana for a Turkish bath,which they enjoyed ;I negotiated my way back to our area(about a 40 min.walk which I extended with a bit more snooping round the streets and hills!cocktails on a rooftop bar with 369 degree view of Istanbul-spectacular!Dinner in a new restaurant opened by a leery flambuont lady who runs a TV cooking show and has published 12 cook books-a bit of fun,and treated we Aust ladies well-her husband ,a plastic surgeon had a chat to us,as did her georgeoeus son,and we had a complimentary desert!
Today I've been on a day tour to Prince's Is-a 90 min ferry trip,then a horse and cart ride for 45 mins around the picturesque is which does not have vehicles,only bikes,and now lots of tourists;nice waterfront restaurants serving local fresh fish-I found a couple of friends so had a nice day then home it time to shower and head out for our last supper-another rooftop cocktail,and such a lovely evening(warmer and no breeze like last night )so we stayed for dinner.full as tic so need to lie down!!!we will pack our bags in the am then go to the plane later arvo ready for that long flight,but it has certainly been worth it...(I think at this stage!)
