So I did the tourist thing today. Started by walking from the louvre up the champs-élysées all the way to the arc du triomphe. What makes this walk so amazing is the fact that it acts as a marker in the distance the whole way. Passed the flagship Louis vitton store on the way down the strip. So last night I was supposed to go on a pub crawl around Paris. Kind of fell asleep and didn't make it. Doesn't mean I didn't have a good evening though. Found this Irish pub with another guy from the room, Chris from sandringham. 3 euro pints means it's hard to just have one. And when it's hard to say no to more you tend to lose track. This is what it's all about. Sitting outside at a hipster bar with a glass of cheap red wine, they're very generous with the glass size as well, and a good book just before midnight.
