Hey my big sister! I am so glad to hear that you are okay and are doing well. I was getting a little worried when we hadn't heard from you. I am really happy to hear that you have picked out a project. I think it's a GREAT one! I will definately try to see if my friends could donate something or maybe if the SGA could donate some money to get some stuff. No promises though, but I will try my best. And you better be taking some pictures for me! I keep hearing from Mom and Dad how beautiful you say it is there and you know I have always wanted to go to Africa, so until I can go myself, I need pictures! Everything is going well here. Staying busy still. I have my first exam tomorrow at 9:45 (NC time) and I will be up all night studying. It's my MIS class (Intro to computers). Well I can't wait to read another update from you! Hi, my eitty, bitty, little sweetie. I am so jealous, and so sorry I did not hear your phone call. I was picking up the cabinets for the apt., and apparently my phone was on silent with no vibration. I understand you left a message on moms phone, but not mine. That is really going to cost you when you get back!!!!!!! I don't even care if it has been a minute or not, we know for sure now WHO LOVES WHO MORE, and I WINNNNN..... I will take the blame this time, I don't know why, but I usually do like Brian does...... Hey Eleana! Ok so I know you want be able to get this anytime soon, but I just wanted you to know that I have been thinking about you and I know everyone is saying it, but I think what you are doing is wonderful and I am so proud of you, for doing what you have always wanted to do. I feel as if you are living out a little part of my dreams as well, only I am to scared to ever fly just down the street let alone halfway around the world! (I know we have not known each other that long but I feel like somehow we have known each other forever!) I sure do miss those rainy nights in your car talking about our life and our future and seeing how much we have in common! Have fun in Africa, but hurry back I miss you so much! We have lots to talk about and I need someone to help me pick out my next "Modern Bride" magazine!!!!

Eleana! I missed your call! You are so right, I am so upset, but you did leave a beautiful message and didn't hang up. I could hear you as if you were in the next office! We had the annual volunteer in-service, so I didn't get back into the office until about an hour after you left your message. I'm so glad things are going so well. You make it sound as if the countryside is like we see in the movies. Makes me want to rush out and get a copy of "Out of Africa!" You said you were going to get internet cards for your computers, so you will have a lot to get caught up on! Even if you can only update us once a week, that will be fine. If it's ok with Jappe, give us his number, you can call you. We will set a time every few days. I know you are 6-hrs. ahead of us. I saved your voice mail and put it on speaker phone so everyone in the office could hear you. Mrs. Anna & I started to cry, tears of joy! I love you. Mom

Hey kiddo, Hil and I went out yesterday and looked at some cabinets for the apt. and bought what we needed. I will most likely go and pick them up today. Lowes, should deliver the sheetrock and insulation, so I may play a little in insulation. Hope and pray all is well with you. Let us know how you are doing when you can. It's Wed. morning. Just writing to you gives me the impression that I am talking to you. I'm at work now. Today is the annual volunteer in-service. We are expecting about 175 volunteers to get updated. It's wonderful to have so many volunteers giving of their time to the sick, injured, and hurting. We love our volunteers. Yes, we will feed them well and have door prizes. Hope your day goes as well and that your smile will be a prize for someone. Love, Mom

It's Tuesday night. I just burned a CD with the photos of you packing and the Pirate/Safari going away party. Everyone was smiling, laughing and wishing you well on the journey. You were all smiles and having a good time with your friends, neighbors, and church family. How bless we all are to be surrounded by God's people and to be showered by His blessings for us daily. Hey sorry about this morning. We were testing out a computer phone that we can use so I figured that i would call you, but it didn't work very well. I could hear you but I wasn't sure if you could hear me. We are in Hazyview right now. We got here alright. We don't have a phone or computer use so we have to go to Japie's house so it maybe a day or two before I write you back. It is BEAUTIFUL here. The most gorgeous place I have ever seen. I will try to email you as soon as I can we are getting work done. I just didn't want you to be worried that something happened because you couldn't hear me. I will try to call you figure something out so if I don't write for a few days I am alright they are really taking care of us here. Love you!!!
