Oh my goodness! We are trying to recover from the arrival of our Nene! What a joyous occasion at the RDU airport on Monday night. Complete with banners, flags, flowers & gifts in exchange for hugs and kisses, more hugs, and kisses... In fact, the hugs haven't stopped and it's now Wednesday.
From Sunday, 12:30am until 3:30am on Tuesday, Eleana had not slept except for some cat naps on the flights. She talked all the way home from the airport and even stayed up to open her bags and share beautiful African gifts with us all. Our gift was, Eleana, so sweet and beautifully smiling, our gift from God, her health and safe return. Her gift to God, sharing, caring, loving his desperate, sick people in another country.
Eleana took about 1500 photos, so we will upload them to the website soon for you to enjoy.
Thanks to everyone for the prayers and support of the Ziva Bantwana AIDS Orphanage. We are still shipping as the money allows, so feel free to sent us a few "bucks." It all adds up, and the orphans need these goods.
Blessings,
Mama Brockett

The little Nene has landed! BA was 5 min. early to DC, and now we are waiting in Raleigh for her to finally make it home to North Carolina. What a relief to hear her voice calling from US soil in Washington, DC.

God Speed Eleana as you take the almost 24 hr. flights back to the U.S. of A! It was great to speak to you briefly yesterday after you arrived safely back in Joberg to spend your last night with Tertia & family. It is wonderful that the directors and their families will celebrate your presence with dinner before you leave. We will pray for your safe travel back home. We will pray for peace in the middle East that it will not spread to the other countries.
P.S. I'm glad Japie will be in Joberg to retrieve the recent shipment that arrived on Friday to take back to the orphans. I love you and can't wait to see you! Loving you, Mom

Guess you are on your way back to Joberg for your last night in South Africa. Make it a great one! We are missing you terribly now and can't wait to see you Monday night. It will take you a week to get used to Eastern Standard Daylight Savings Time. The last shipment of 8 boxes arrived in just 4 days in Joberg and cleared customs quickly. Our friends at FedEx really understand our mission for the AIDS orphans both here and at the Joberg commercial airport for shipments. God bless, and I hope you will update your journal before leaving ZA. I love you.
Dad; And I'm Still Bigger
Hi Kiddo; Thought I would drop you a line and say hi. Had to go to Wilmington the last two days for PT, kinda sore and tired now. Just got back and looked to see if you had posted anything. Glad I will see you soon. Love Ya. Dad

The day is dawning, and I am just rising, I pray my strength won't fail. So much to do and so little time. Praying for your strength, hope, and love not to fail. We'll see you soon. You have so much more to tell...
Good to hear the Pres. Clinton is there with Bill Gates at the Microsoft World Convention. Maybe this is the connection you need. And, the world fashion model congress, wow, what a popular place to be: The Cape of Good Hope, Cape Town, South Africa!
Mom
My how the time has flown by. You'll be home, back in the USA next week. We can't wait to see you, as well as so many others. It has been good to talk with you by phone from your hotel room. Your trip to the Cape of Good Hope and the penquin farm sound wonderful! And, you said you were going to swim with the great white sharks! Oh no, I wish you hadn't told me that. Oh well, experience it all. Loving you, Mom.
