Straight after breakfast at Melkboomsdrift lodge, James from VW Vredendal called, they could not find one single fault with my car. They hooked up the computer, nothing! Took a couple of test drives, nothing! Hooked it up again, still nothing! Not one single problem! Guess I will see if everything is faultless when I get to another " middle of nowhere" part. I have a sneaky suspicion that the polo couldn't handle all that fiery heat though.
So I went back to the lodge, grabbed my cozzy, and headed for Strandfontein. I could tell the water was cold by the fact that there were plenty of people on the beach, and none in the water, and after wading ankle deep my enthusiasm for bodysurfing quickly subsided. Taking a stroll on the beach was my only other option, and I enjoyed the calmness of the waves breaking in the background, while contemplating what was, is, and will be. Nothing serious though, just simple things.
