I had been looking forward to coming back to San Francisco for a while now. I had great memories of the city from when I visited about 10 years ago and a few good friend's have recently been telling me how great it really is. I was very curious to see it again with "adult eyes" and get to live it for a few days.
The other aspect of my anticipation was seeing one of my best friends, Alex, who I had not seen for 4 years.
The night we arrived at his place he welcomed us with another great surprise: we had to go meet a high school friend, Jason, who I had not seen in 12 years!
The evening turned out to be a great reunion!!
Jason had just bought himself a Harley Davidson Sporster and kindly let me drive it around SF for the time I was there. This fulfilled my desire of riding a Harley in California! It was great to stroll around town on the big loud chrome beast! It was also awesome to go out riding with Alex who has recently discovered his passion for bikes and has bought himself an awesome Triumph bike.
I loved every single moment we spent in SF, regardless of what we were doing. The place has a welcoming and relaxed yet vibrant vibe that really makes you feel both at home and part of something special.
While Benedetta went around in some of the hipster neighbourhoods I indulged in the music scene of the town by going to loads of guitar shops and record stores.
I ended up buying myself an awesome and very unique silverburst Fender Telecaster, which is now being shipped home and will be my souvenir from my favourite west coast city.
