Wow mate just got your postcard from Patagonia, thanks - took a month to get here! That glacier looks incredible. I just had a look at the 'full map' on your site and it looks fantastic, covering the whole of the South American continent! And soon Australasia too?! Cool. Safe trip back - see you at the wedding. Hi Edd - Just been looking through the pics and most impressed! You certainly "did" South America - it looked like a really great experience. Glad you've got to NZ safely I hope that you've recovered from the jet lag and that you get some down time there - although I hear you're off to Oz shortly. Then you'll have to seriously conisder doing "the book of the journey" or at least the bits that are publishable. Anyway, glad you're OK and look forward to having a seriously long chat when it's all over - but hey!!! enjoy the remaining time - every moment! U Dip

Have made it to New Zealand and am at Karena's house. Feel a bit like a space cadet as tired and confused with time zones...
Oh, I also managed to get an upgrade (with the Welsh couple I was traveling with) to business class! Was great for such a long flight and we really enjoyed it.
Off for a quick afternoon nap now...

Hi woody, love the pics of the falls. Very impressive. Hair is very short but not as bad as you made out when I was talking to you. Sounds like you made a good decision with the heat. I liked seeing the Christmas pictures too. Funny to see the custard and beans I sent you a few weeks ago. Glad you enjoyed! Em and D xx

Hi Edd!
Good to hear that your Christmas and travels are going well! It must be strange being so warm and so far away at Christmas. We enjoy you photos, thanks. Makes you feel closer.

Thanks for all the messages.
It´s 1pm on christmas day here and I´m sat in my shorts, t-shirt and sandles in an internet cafe in central Sucre. Although most of you guys are 4 hours ahead of me in Britain I still got to open my presents before you as we all celebrated on the evening of the 24th here. There are 6 "foreigners " staying with the local family an most of us popped along to the local Catholic church and watched "midnight mass" (actually at about 10pm til 11pm) and then we went back to the house and had a massive feast with the family. There were abot 30 of us in total and we ate at midnight, and then presents were exchanged at about 1am. I enjoyed opening my emergency food parcel consisting of Baked beans, custard, branston pickle and a curly wurly amongst other things.Thanks.
Just going to relax for the rest of the day - am headed towards Paragay/Brazil next and leave tomorrow. Hope you all had/are having a great Xmas .
