Hi Edd. Following the trip with great interest and more than a hint of "wish I was there". However, I'm really glad you're having such a good time and you look as though your thoroughly enjoying it although I hear you're not exactly up for the sailor of the year award. Still I'm sure that the Galapogos were well worth a fair amount of tummy churning. Continue to keep us all informed - you made Sian and Bex squirm a bit with the spider pics - I think Ben had a shudder or three also. Don't have too good a time when you get to Oz or cousin Bex will be on the next plane. U Dip

I´m now into Peru!
We (me and Rob - the guy from Holland I met on the Galapagos boat) took an overnight bus and got down here. We´re going for another overnighter tonight to get down towards southern Peru. Feels strange to be hot and wearing sandles again after the Andes - we are down by the coast here.
John - I´ll be in Oz around 6th Feb (for about 12 days) - will see you then. Sounds good there...

You lucky lucky lucky b****rd! I don't think I've ever seen a website that's made me want to travel so much before. Pics look awesome mate, good to see you smiling in so many corners of the globe. Let us know if you're still heading our way after Christmas (there's no men here, seriously. It's all women, and it's like they're in withdrawal or something). Hopefully see you then. J & D

Great pics Edd. You should enter a couple for wildlife photographer of the year. I particularly like the feeding turtle. You look well chilled out on the boat pic.

WOW!!! Your pictures are amazing. It looks like you had a very relaxing time. Love the turtle and all the other animals. You're so lucky!!!!! I'm properly jealous now Em xx

EDD, glad you're having a good time. Several things concern me however. First is that you seem to have become some kind of action hero- very un-you but welcome. Second, you seem to be surrounded on all fronts by lovely ladies. Is this the same man who left UK? This is my first time on this website, forgot it was here 'til your group email. Superb site. Keep us up to date with your Edd-ventures

Hi Fred, Looking good.. and very brown. Any cooler yet where you are? Forgot to tell you insurance company have written off the car so we've been looking for a new one. Will let you know what we get (should hopefully get one this week). Still sore but getting better. Have Fun. Lots of love, Em xx

NOW IN SOUTH AMERICA!
Glad to escape the heat of central america but am finding the altitude here a bit strange- sort of feel a bit light headed most of the time and a bit short of breath after simple things (e.g. walking up 2 flights of stairs).
Gaz - Well done on the GP job, mate. Well deserved. I´m sure your pretty drunk at this exact point in time- good luck for the stag do.
Arena- cheers for the messages and hi to Liz. BBC.CO.UK is doing a good job on keeping me up to date with the footie (including Liverpools sluggish start to the season)
Chet- Glad you had a good time in Peru. I´m looking forward to it a lot. Did you get some good photo´s?
Reddy - Cheers for the message. How are the plans towards the USA coming along? Are you going to bother with Paces in Jan?
I´m looking into a Galapagos Islands tour but not sure if the budget will streatch - See what kind of deal I can get...

Mum
Hi Edward, Just been looking at the photos and seeing the Panama Canal. Impressive. And was most interested to read the postcard about the President's funeral. It must have been an incredible thing to have happened. I am glad that you were safe. I hope that you will soon get used to the altitude in Quito and be able to see a bit of the countryside. Thanks for phoning the other day. Love to you from Mum. xx
Gaz
Hi mate, its Gaz jones. Off on stag this weekend, you will be missed in Galway. Very cool to have a look at this site and catch up. Mel and I loving living in Croyde and wedding plans going well. I finally got through GP and have a job too so well pleased. Enjoy the time off man, Gaz and Mel xxx
EM
Nice to hear from you. Hope the bus journey is not too bad; hopefully you can get a bit of sleep. Looks like you're getting closer and closer to the equator (I'm assuming that's what the red line means anyway!). Will be in touch again soon! Em xxx

Woody - big fan of the spider photo! Looks as though you are having an awesome time. Liz sends her regards as well. All your missing here is Mourino making a fool of himself and Chelsea accusing Reading of being Keeper Killers, but then the marvels of t'internet mean you know all this...
