Hi Gang,
The trip looks wonderful. David and Lisa are having a great time looking at your photos. The Cairns/Townsville ones are terrific and the Yatch looks great. What contrast from the outback. David is keen to know what sugarcane tastes like. David is very excited that you will be at school next year with him. Shore had the athletics carnival last week - Hall house won. There was the seniors rugby finals last weekend between Riverview and Shore. Unfortunately Shore lost - as my Riverview neighbours constantly remind me. The big American Tea (Shore fundraiser Fete) is on 1 Sept. The kids get to go to it during school and have lots of rides and play games. The Artarmon Fundraiser was great - $20K raised - certainly sets a high standard for us Yr 3 mums for next year. We drive past the house every day - it seems to be fine. We are starting our renovations soon (hopefully to be finished by Christmas).

Hi Cath, Richard, Stephen, Matthew and Clare. We're enjoying your website and, vicariously, your travels. I guess you're living to more natural rhythms now - night day, fine and wet, hot and cold. We are in the term 3/soccer rhythm - which is fine. The school fundraising night on Saturday was a lot of fun and I believe raised plenty for the school. I've picked up your school photos, just need an address to send you one of the little ones of each. I hope the books arrived OK in time for your stay in Cairns. Let me know when you would like some more. enjoy life on the road. Rhonda. (PS Our home internect connection is dodgy at the moment so Martin hasn't been able to send an email to Stephen for himself.)

Hi guys,
I've tried several times to email you on your personal email but with no luck. Your central australia adventure sound fantastic. Tori and Jeremy are in the finals for soccer..onto the baseball season now! My work is as chaotic as ever but I've changed my attitude-go with the flow.. Murray is enjoying worrking for a reliable and steady client. Weather here is quite balmy now-sounds like you are still experiencing the extremes! Saw Neroli the other day-she made a film for Tropfest! Maybe you could make a film about your Aussie adventures!Anyway I'll give you a call if the email fails again. Cheers. Libby

Hi Cath
How much red dust have you got through everything??? And if you think you have cleaned it all up you are sure to find more!!! At Alice I would definitely go out to the Gap and have a wander around. Make sure you see the Todd River, it's where they hold the 'Henley on the Todd'. I'm sure Alice has changed quite a lot since I was last there. It is so very different to Sydney life. Have fun.

Great to catch up on all your news.Cathy, we had great weather at Port Douglas. We all had a terrific time there. I can understand why the Eatons might not have much to recommend it though! We, on the other hand, loved the coffee shops, the fish co-op and the long walks along the beach. I think you probably prefer a more active existence to us!!
Keep on enjoying your trip. P and M

Hi Cath
You guys are heading into my former home country!I will be very interested to see your photos and what you get up to! Love the photos and postcards you have written. Cheers
Matthew
At Lawn Hill there was fresh water crocodiles but you could still go swimming. I have patted and seen lots of animals. The frog felt gooey and you have to wet your hands to touch them as they dry out otherwise and I made friends with a kangaroo called Rowdy who I patted a lot, the other kangaroos were jumpy. I will send the class an email with other stuff.

Thank you to 2D for all the messages - it is great to see that you have been looking at the site. I do hope that Mrs David can get the site unblocked for you to see the photos as you will see lots of Matthew and what we have been doing. He is not with me today but will send you all another email and answer some of your questions in a few days. I hope you have been enjoying doing this as part of your computer lessons. Matthew is thrilled that you are thinking of him and to know he has such a lot of friends.
