Not a particularly good photo - but it is proof that we saw platypus - in fact we saw many....they are just rather quick and my zoom is not too powerful. I took better video as that does have a better zoom on it. They are rather gorgeous and we saw many - we also saw some playing chasings in circles and learnt that this is a mating game. An egg is laid in the burrow after 10 days and 20 days later it hatches. It feeds on mothers milk until weaning at 3.5 month...
