Nothing really happened in Wanaka. It was a really nice little town on an amazing. Was a really brief stop overnight but the hotel that we stayed in, hotel yes not hostel was so nice, ensuite and a tv and only 4 to a room. And honestly the best shower I have had for years. And there was a bath tub, I had forgotten what one of those was. Went to puzzle world and I got seriously lost in the maze and had to follow some other people to actually get out. Stopped loads...

Well, I had a pretty hectic time in Franz Josef but it was amazing. I was supposed to get up and meet at the glacier hiking place at 7.30am and I woke up at 7.35 and realised that I was late. Literally had 5 mintutes to throw on my clothes, get my bag and run to the town, which was a few minutes away luckily. Hardcore as I had to quickly get changed and prepare to walk up a massive ice glacier. It wasn't as hard as I thought it was going to be and really weir...

There wasn't any other reason to stop here then to have a massive booze up. We all had to get fancy dress costumes and the theme was create your own super hero. I was so stuck and literally ended up dressing all in black and sticking stars and planet stickers on me and wearing a bin bag cape - the power of darkness. But there were some pretty funny costumes. Anyone who has done the Kiwi Experience will know this place. It was a pub/hostel in the middle of now...

Westport was pretty cool. We ended doing a few things along the way activity wise. We stopped and had lunch at this amazing lake, it was so pretty and it w nice and sunny. The only down side to the sun is that the mountains aren't snow capped but I guess you can't have everything and I don't want it to get any colder because it is cold enough for me at the moment, especially as I don't have any warm clothes. Arrived in Nelson pretty late in the afternoon but we got to stop off along the way to have a random bush walk and sit around a nice lake. That was nice. Spent the whole of the next day at the Abel Tasman National Park. It was really beautiful. Went sea kayaking all day. It literally was for hours. Sooo tired! But the sea was mega calm so it really wasn't that hard and definitely a lot easier then when Matthew and I did it in Laos, crazy!! But that was a good...
