After an eventful start to the day with Rosie nearly missing the bus and us begging the driver to wait for her, using multiple excuses of course (he was not impressed)! Yesterday we had a lovely lie in and decided to take the gondola up the mountain to do the luge, for those who don't know the luge is a track in which you go down in a cart, it was awesome and we managed to get 6 rides instead of five due to us forgetting our tickets the first time we went up! We arrived in Christchurch and it was definitely not what we had expected! The earthquake had destroyed most of the city and many of the houses were partly destroyed or abandoned which was very sad to see (this purple house was like the leaning tower of piza).
