We slept in and after breakfast surrounded by burkas; we headed up to champs élysées to join a city tour which took us around all the big sites and gave us a good feel for Paris which we have not visited for 14 years or so, when last here with the girls.
Very crowded at all the major features as we're the shops. We have enjoyed some great sidewalk cafes although the food is very rich which we don't need after eating our way through Scandinavia.
We walked and walked trying to find la fayette galleria which is only 2 km away without success.We have a cruise and dinner at Eiffel tower. Tried to book a trip to Somme without success so will go to Versailles palace instead.
It's still daylight at 10pm and the tills are running hot on champs élysées.
