Kars to Tblisi

For those of you still awake you will have noticed that Tblisi is in Georgia not in Iran that's cos they've closed the border on us so instead of going via Iran we have to go across the Caspian from Baku to Turkmenbasha via that pestilential ferry. Hah!! the good news is Tblisi turns out to be a great town fantastic cafe culture great for watching the world pass by, accompanied by excellent food and good beer. Finding the hotel however took 2 hours mostly because we'd not set up my Sat Nav in the end we asked a Taxi driver but that did no good cos he didn't know where it was either. The count was getting hot and sweaty by the end cursing about the 5 Ps and mumbling that in his day the stakes would be out long before we got to the hotel.
