Ulan Ude to Vlad Day 6

The illness has now spread to most of the rest of the group my roomie Colin went down with it last night, he spent the entire night expelling from both ends simultaneously nasty! We've decided to spend another day here recovering, and then make the ride to vlad in one day, it's nearly five hundred miles through mixed road surfaces so it won't be easy. My biggest concern is I'm one of the guys that haven't had this bug so if it hits me tonight or tomorrow I'm going to be in the deep stuff. Ah well "the journey is the interruptions". I took a wander through the town this afternoon and despite its dubious location it is really pretty good, there's a great walk alongside the river with a beach and lots of partially naked ladies and the centre seems to be well equipped with restaurants and bars.
