Hi Guys and Girls, John and Ute from Allegra saying Hi. Glad you made it to Greece. We arrived safely in Monastir with a 2 day stop in Lampedusa in between (island is really beautiful and town quay is free!!). We decided to get an annual mooring in Monastir since Tunisia turned out to be cheap, nice and has good transport links to France. Arrived at our house in the Pyrenees two days ago and have been clearing the jungle in the garden ever since! The weather is cold and rainy - wonderful change after the heat of the Med!!!! Hope to go back to the boat in September.
Stay in touch, safe travels, J&U
Johann
Hello John and Liz,
I am Johann, the french guy who climbed the Stromboli with you. I checked out the pictures of your trip and it leaves me dreaming... I hope I will have courage enough one day to make such a long trip!
We came back from Palermo to Paris with my friends last sunday after one week on the boat : a hard return! ( work , bad weather....).
Hope you will find somebody nice for your transat in january. I would have enjoyed to do it but My wife will really kill me if I left her 3 weeks with our 3 years boy and the new baby who will arrive in September.
Say hello to Joao ( not sure of the spelling... ) if you are still sailing together.
Good luck !
Johann
