Day 37

Today we woke up refreshed to a lovely breakfast at the hotel BACON SANDWICHES :) although there was a power cut during breakfast so no toast...

Then we decided to go explore our new destintation and today we went to the Citadel & The Purple Forbidden City, the weather was overcast so it was pleasant to walk around, although our legs did ache at the end :(

The Citadel was in a bad state of disrepair but they have tried to recontruct it in some places, I can imagine it was beautiful when it was first built.

In the evening we had some food and alcoholic beverages, here in Vietnam they have happy HOURS instead of just one happy hour which is fantastic :) we had a look around some of the shops and I bought some new trousers with bows on them <3 seeing asthough I was getting so much wear out of the ones I bought in bangkok. I also bought a cute new dress because everything is so cheap here it was only about 3pounds.... crazy.
