Peg arrived! She was scheduled to arrive last night but her flight was cancelled due to stormy weather somewhere on the east coast? So AA rebooked her for today. Her flight was actually a 1/2 hour early at LGA. I think that is probably the first time in LGA's recorded history to have an early arrival. I say this next sentence with a big smile...I worked at LGA for years and have never heard of an early arrival there. So I am taking this as a sign of how magical this journey we are embarking on really is.
We had a great meal at Houston's in Glen Cove and now settling in for the evening. I write this laughing to myself thinking about all the FB and Twitter posts that I have read that speak about everything that someone is doing during their day. And now here I am...writing all of this ....sharing the things that I am eating. OH MY....I guess I am in the 21st Century after all.
Keeping you updated is really keeping me present to the journey. Sharing this enthusiasm and experience is a way for me to ground in the beauty and magic of my life.
I want to document all these words and feelings in each moment. As I wrote in my first post. This has been years in the making and I want to savor every detail of this manifestation.
May not write again until we are either at JFK on Saturday or in Iceland on Sunday.
Until then........- comments
