Well, it turns out that the Pad Thai I had last night that was so tasty, didn't feel the same about me. Didn't think that going in to style hair was the best of ideas today, so I spent pretty much the entire day laying in bed working on my sketches/designs for the big exam on Friday. Managed to drag myself out of bed for 4am this morning, having had about 4 hours sleep, with the full intention of going to see the Spurs v Liverpool game live at the Fox and Hounds (http://www.thefoxandhounds.com) near Universal City. I'd decided to have an easy one today, due to the busy week I'd had (and also the hangover from last night was slightly crippling me), so spent most of the day watching stuff and reading my anatomy book, so I'm ready for the prosthetics and special effects sections of the course. Today proved to be much more exciting than previous days. The class started once again with a demonstration, this time with a full-on, over-the-top, avant-garde, haute couture look. This was just to show us what we can potentially do if working on a high fashion shoot, or other runway/gala/catwalk type events. Not a lot to report on today. I'd already done my sketch the other night so was fully prepared. It involved a lot of brown. A kind of 'steampunk' type feel based on a Vivienne Westwood look I found through Google… and may have slightly 'borrowed'. The demonstration this morning was based on an avant-garde look, and we'd have to create our own later on.
