The Radweg
Well Güstrow and Schwerin have lived up to all that I hoped they'd be. I have even been able to relax a bit. It stormed real hard here last night. The museum in Schwerin has been one of my favorite places so far. The regular collection was great. The exhibit was Kandinski to Tatlin- Constructionism in Europe. As usual my favorite things were artists I have never heard of. Ljubow Poppow, ...Von Stuck, and others whose names I wrote down but can't remember now. The castle is having lots of restoration right now but it's still pretty amazing. Tomorrow I am going towards Lübeck but stopping for a night in the small town of Ratzeburg. The rain broke the heat a bit. I gave the bike a good cleaning. Everything appears to be in order. It's funny the odd, kind os out-of-sortsness that I felt in Greifswald is gone. In fact, it has taken a 180 and now I feel like I could go on all the way to September. I think because I've been able to slow down and enjoy where I'm at instead of trying to get somewhere else. How many times, I ask myself and you all both comically and rhetorically, do I have to learn that lesson? Ha. I'm heading back to sit in my chair now and watch the Germany v. Portugal game. I have beers, chocolate, and these peanut puffs that I like. Goodnight or more likely good morning all.
