Busy couple of weeks again, I dont know where they all go. We had a presentation to the local air ambulance of the money we raised at the last flyin, we were invited down on the Saturday to present the cheque, these guys are amazing the gov give them NOTHING! they raise £3M a year to keep the show flying to support the local emergency services. They cover 180 major traumers a month & it costs £19.00/min to keep it in the air. While we were there they scambled, off to get a child that had fallen and impailed itself onto railings, the guys all got ready to photograph the take off & all the girls were worried about the poor kid, it made us all do a double take as to why we were there!! We will run another event to support them, its a very good cause, lets pray next times its not for any of us! We left the base and went to the field for a club BBQ which went down FAB and gave us all a chance to chill with our families & choppers! Daisy had a Victorian day at a local country house , cooking , cleaning & ironing in period dress, all part of a school learning day, she had a great time with the exception for the dinner , where she kept asking for Coke & kept getting water!! We also have been over to KFJ's house & expored a bit more of Sherwood forest, it seems that Robin hood wasn 't the onlt thief in the forest, a local fun fair seems to do a fair impression of him! It may have been that the rest of the world was watching England get beat so the none footie fans were being targeted as we were the only ones around. Waddington air show came around again, planes/funfairs/trade tents/craft fairs/local clubs/demonstrations it was a busy day but far too hot at 32C to walk around an airbase!
